New York Daily News - Anquan Boldin still wants a new contract and appears unhappy in Arizona, which has fueled rumors that he could become available this offseason.

If the Giants ultimately decide that they won't bring Plaxico Burress back because of his off-field issues, a trade for Boldin would make a lot of sense for New York.

If the Cardinals put Boldin on the block, there are a number of other teams out there with better draft choices to offer.

Who says theyre keeping Burress?
They have a clause in his contract for those actions...
They can cut him and not pay him what he's owed.

That clause is getting Burress out of new york and frees up $$$ to get boldin in and Draft picks. Giants will do what they need to do to get him. Call them Dallas, like they did for Roy Williams.

they have plenty to offer, whether it be a defensive player like Kiwanuka or Danny Clark, maybe even Jay Alford. They've got Draft picks which I'm sure they are willing to use.

They know they have to get a good WR, they struggled too much in the end without a WR of Plax's caliber. They'll do whats necessary whether its Boldin or someone else.

Boldin is a top wideout. It would take a #1 draft choice as well as a young quality player or maybe two. Plus, they would need to give him a new contract to make him happy. I don't see this one going down.

any team is going to have to give a top pick and sign him to a new contract... so in that case, noone is getting him.. based off your idea.

Anquan Boldin has two more years left on his contract, and the Cardinals have no intention of trading him or even testing the market for him. "We've often talked about building this team under a core philosophy," Cardinals general manager Rod Graves said. "How could you have a core and not include Anquan Boldin?" Graves wouldn't go so far as to say the Cardinals would not listen to trade offers for Boldin or any player. But to give up Boldin, a suitor would have to come calling with "a very rich proposition." -- Chicago Tribune

of course he's going to say that, its Super Bowl week, he doesnt want to say we want to trade him, would make him look like an ass.
