Allen Bailey is a DE, maybe even big enough to be a 3-4 DE... You just listed 3-4 OLBs. He is not nearly as athletic as Gholston and Orakpo, come on man.
Bailey is certainly just as athletic as Gholston or Orakpo... maybe more. Just because they don't play the same position doesn't mean they don't compare athletically.

Bailey isn't a very good football player at this point, but he is a freak athlete without question.

Also, Orakpo ran a 4.63 40.

Allen Bailey is rumored to be a 4.65

Bailey isn't a 1st rounder, he'll be a mid to late 2nd.
There is too much talent going to be available for a team to reach on Bailey in the first TYO.

Like I said, you should be looking hard at Phil Taylor. He's the element you guys need on defense.

Orakpo is much lighter on his feet than Bailey, they are completely different.

Smaller Calais Campbell.

Phil Taylor is going to be a monster NT.

Thats what you want in a 3-4.

Stop talking.

Jakes watched Bailey his whole career at Miami, and you are just basically telling Jake (Who probably knows more about college football than anybody here) that hes wrong..

Its laughable.

If Bailey does run a 4.65, I'd be very impressed and admit I'm wrong... But I don't think he has that in him.

They could have, just not disclosed publicly because the Chiefs don't want people to know they're interested in.

Don't pay attention to who they talked to.

Jags never told anybody about them meeting with Alualu.

I know man. I'm in love with the man at NT position.. He's a tank inside.

I'm with you on him to the Chiefs.

Kentucky WR Randall Cobb registered an official forty time of 4.45 at the Scouting Combine Sunday.
Ex-Texans GM Charley Casserly compared Cobb to a "poor man's Hines Ward," calling him a "third-round type guy." Another NFC scout said Cobb grades out as an "A-plus character guy" who's "competitive and scrappy." A slot receiver prospect at 5'10 1/4" and 191 pounds, Cobb projects as a day-two selection.

hmm..

sooo..

Kam right again?

So I'm supposed to give you credit for stealing a comparison? I'm sure you can find Cobb being compared to McCluster as well.

By somebody like a former GM? Nope.. Just a bunch of wannabe internet draftniks that aren't even allowed to watch the Combine right now.

He ran a 4.65 before his Junior year according to the Miami S&C program. Not sure how well he's going to run two years after that. He's steadily gained muscle mass every year in college. Dude has like 7% body fat. Workout warrior for sure.

If anyone can measure up to what their own guys say they can, then god bless them. He is in shape obviously and is very athletic, but the guy weighed in at 285 I don't think anyone can run a 4.65 at that size. But then again, I'm very happy he weighed in that big because I think he can be a very good 3-4 DE.

Kam, why don't you bet me on his 40?

What does betting on a 40 do? 40 doesn't even show how quick they really are or anything.

Mario Williams 6'7 295 ran an unofficial 4.66 at the combine.

Back to the combine - I'm interested in what John Clay can do out here today. He played at like 250, and is down to 230... Very impressive.
