Clippers Expected To Pursue David West
The Los Angeles Clippers are interested in signing David West this offseason.

The Clippers will have to entice West with the $5.15 million midlevel exception available to teams that are non-taxpayers.

West played with Chris Paul as members of the New Orleans Hornets.

The Indiana Pacers will be able to pay West more money to re-sign.

hes not a bench player yet, itd be foolish to take less money(he should actually only get that from indy), take a lesser role, and sign with a lesser team. he wouldnt go there.

The Clippers will make a "hard run" at David West in the offseason, according to ESPN's Marc Stein.

West is responsible for changing the culture with the Pacers, and both Indiana and West have gone on the record saying they'd like to remain with each other. Regardless, the Clippers will have West on the radar, and it wouldn't surprise us to see the veteran cash in with another multi-year deal around $10 million per season like the contract he's playing on now. West played with Chris Paul in New Orleans.

Not surprised at all. Very good move to help keep CP3 in the fold as the two of them were close. Really don't see West leaving Indiana, but if the Clippers throw enough money his way, it might just happen. What would you guys think about the Clippers signing David West? Do you view it as a possibility?

Well would they start him ahead of Blake Griffin or try play Griffin at center, because West is a better 4 and overall player than Blake Griffin?
