No word on the return yet. All the major insiders tweeting it now though.

Not Wheeler though.

Fulmer throws 96-97, crazy good slider, developing changeup.

He was probably going to become a top 5 prospect for us this offseason.

Nevermind I misread the article.

Would be dope if he and Norris headline our starting rotation next season :)

yea starter. #7 prospect in our system but just started to shoot up lists. He's the reason we were trying to move Wheeler, felt comfortable he could be in the rotation mid 2016, opening day 2017 at the latest.

Not sure if he'll be up by next season. Definitely by September next year but Opening Day would be a stretch. you got a solid prospect in return for a rental.

Just glad the Mets got somebody. Easily becomes our best hitter. If d'Arnaud stays healthy and Wright is back by September this team could make a push.

I think they were comfortable moving Wheeler for other reasons

I love this trade a lot fo the Mets. Sandy has done a phenomenal job in this trading period. We got the reliever and bat we needed. I love how Cepedes plays and his power. With Darnaud back, Cepedes in the lineup, and hopefully Wright back this will be a decent lineup. I havent been excited about a Mets lineup since 2006.

He'll probably leave you guys in the offseason. Lots of reports going around saying he will resign with the Tigers

I think most Mets fans know he probably was just a couple month rental.
That would be awesome for us though lol.

I won't buy Cespedes going back to Detroit until it actually happens. Why would he?

Loved his time here, probably due to our large amount of Spanish speaking players.
He reportedly told friends he wants to resign here even if he did get traded.

Certainly isn't a forgone conclusion or anything but I think it is certainly possible.
