i really don't think its insulting and he should know it's more of a business move. but i dont think he helps the cavs that much to make this move, id still try for it regardless.

The idea isn't insulting but I think the offer is..

If I were the Celtics a 1st would be the least I'd take for him..

The most they'd get is a first in the mid 20s in a weaker than usual draft class, and that guy would be on a guaranteed contract for 2 years. 31 and 33 are at the top of the 2nd, they could still get a couple of guys they want, no guaranteed money.

Yeah I'd trade Paul for #19, not two 2nds

Also, idk why Cleveland would rather do two 2nds for Pierce when Dallas is offering Shawn Marion and #13 for #19

You literally move up 6 spots to take on an expiring who is an upgrade over Gee

We aren't gonna give up 19 for Pierce, that won't happen.

And taking on 10 mill to move up 6 spots isn't worth it. Takes away cap flexibility for possible mid season trades

thats a joke (the 2nd part, I know Pierce isn't going for 19)

An expiring contract isn't hard to move at the deadline at all

Yes but teams would rather trade into cap for a trade exception than an expiring.

Not worth it to lose flexibility in my book
