anyway I thought the head was funny so I went back and redid it but that's how it looks, if you're referring to the head but anyway:

smoothen the head out a bit. and there's bg on the headband, his left shoulder and his right side of the jersey.

??? That's how his head is in the pic; I think the shoulder bg is the jersey, and I don't see any other bg; I just looked at again in GIMP.

put a background behind it to see the bg. and the "jersey" part on his shoulder looks like it's bg so it'd be best to get rid of it anyway. and smoothen out his head to make it look better, not to make it look like how it is on the picture.
