The New York Rangers have signed Brandon Dubinsky has signed a four-year/$16.8 million contract extension.
Dubinsky and the Rangers narrowly managed to avoid arbitration. Dubinsky set new career highs last season with 24 goals and 54 points in 77 games, but he's capable of doing even better in 2011-12. He's also a candidate to play alongside Brad Richards and Marian Gaborik on the Rangers' top line, so he's worth keeping a close eye on during training camp.

I like this sign for the Rangers. As the report eluded to, he put up some pretty nice numbers this past season and with Richards in the mix that should be nice for him.

Love Dubinsky. Emerging as a leader on the team and has a knack of playing great when the team needs it. Also had a really good season last year.
