http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/recap?gameId=290910114One night after the teams drew 11,159, the smallest crowd in the 20-year history of Rogers Centre, attendance was 11,461, the second-lowest this season. Toronto averaged 12,315 for the four-game series.
I don't believe this has to do with the beginning of the school year or any of those other small factors. I believe if the Jays don't make the playoffs soon (maybe within the next 5-7 years) attendances at the Rogers Centre will continue to fall.
