They are on Dafont, the text isn't that bad. I think a different layout could make it look better. Also this could use some dark spots. Maybe make a desat layer on overlay around 30 opacity, then make a new layer and try a gray layer on lighten with a low opacity.

Pattern overlays and white boxes with a low opacity, gray layers on lighten can do it too. But he prolly used the plugin Topez.
