Sounds great. I think you should have a try-out system, let everybody submit like 2 articles or so. Base the judgments off of that.

Yeah, you'd be a great captain for this Rip. If you wanted to like maybe pick one or two more guys to help you with it, but kind of "moderate" it so to speak and help make decisions on cuts, that would be good as well.

Well I was thinking:

Article Section
--->Team Lounge (password protected)

--->Articles
->Sports Articles
->Other Articles


In the team lounge we do the editing and stuff and take care of whatever.
Then after they are corrected we post them in the sports articles area, or the other articles section. Other articles being things like politics, music, etc.

Simple and effective?

I don't however want to assign assignments or collect the stories, that's just a pain in the ass.

Im out of state working all weekend, and have very little time on a PC. My lap top is also not working and I dont know when it will get fixed.

if u hold try-outs soon I'll do my best to scrap together something late at night during the week when the home PC is open to use.

im in a similar situation as mooche.
