Pretty irrelevant this year. Just went to the best player on the best team. The Stanford running back had better numbers all across the board.

Should have gone to the Nebraska guy

I wanted Erhart...He shoulda won, he had more rushing yards and Td's, and someone on ESPN said that Gerhart faced better defences actually.

Stanford already has a heisman winner.. o_O

I thought Gerhart should have won, and I wanted McCoy to win (well, Kellen Moore, but he wasn't invited), but I successfully predicted the top 7 in order :D

I picked Ingram to win it, because of him being a savage in the SEC-against all those great Defenses, and because I didn't want Tebow or Gerhart to win it. So, I'm not disappointed.

Suh should of won. I really wish Colt didn't suck so bad against Nebraska, or he would of had a good chance.

See the thing about that is the fact Gerhart faced MUCH stiffer run defenses that Ingram. Ingram played one game against a top 40 rush defense. Gerhart had 5 and beat Ingram in almost every stat category.

This is my take on the heisman:

If there is a quarterback with enormous stats on a good (8-9+ wins in an actual conference) he's a lock.

If there is a QB with the best stats (not by much) and on a very good team (9+) he'll win.

Otherwise, it's a toss up. Usually, if there's a player with good/great stats (but not amazingly beast) stats on a top team, and nobody from the other 2 categories, he'll win. (Ingram)
