Alex Ovechkin is currently tied with Sergei Fedorov's record of 483 goals, the most by a Russian-born player. Ovechkin has been held scoreless in his last four games after tying Fedorov's record on November 7th. They play the Dallas Stars tonight as the Stars hold the NHL's best road record and are confident that they can keep Ovechkin out of net.
Here is a list of the Capital's next five games.
11/19 - vs. Dallas Stars
11/21 - vs. Colorado Avalanche
11/23 - vs. Edmonton Oilers
11/25 - vs. Winnipeg Jets
11/27 - vs. Tampa Bay Lightning
Do you believe tonight is the night that Ovechkin break's the record? If not when will he do it?"We have to make sure that there's a second wave of defense for him," Stars coach Lindy Ruff said. "It isn't just solely one-on-one all the time. He's going to make some great plays, great individual plays. We need that added help, because physically he can dominate."
