I don't give any sympathy to the Angels on this one.  It sucks Pujols doesn't have enough left in the tank to meet half of that contract but his foot problems weren't much of a secret.  Matter of fact, I was surprised how much news outlets such as ESPN starting reporting his plantar's issue, as if it wasn't already a problem while he was with St. Louis.
 
He's had the problem for a few years now but not until he wen't to LA did it become so advertised.
