So I guess I'm deaf... Either way they were referring to Pacman.

He did nothing bad to anybody on their team, yet they were out to hurt him.

That's my opinion, not changing it for anybody... So I'll just say I disagree with most of you and leave it at that.

Idk maybe he did say Pacman but i didnt hear it.. I bet pacman was talkin trash b4 the guy said that.. or maybe just no1 likes him.. I wouldn't mind puttin a late hit on his ass :sparta:

CALM DOWN!

I know how it feels to have twenty people going against one. He's just stating his opinion no matter what other people think.

Like I said.... I thought the same thing about when it happened to Carson Palmer and still do think that way and it will never change. He's sticking up for his players/his team. Nothing wrong with that.

I'm not going to stick up for a certain one I'm just saying... I know the feeling...

Just because most of us share different outlooks on things compared to others it shouldn't start a big fiasco.

Im not a big fan of Pacman, but never like a player getting seriously hurt.

Despite how you feel about him as a player or person, you should never "rejoice" over something as serious as this. Nobody deserves that.

If he isnt able to play again hopefully he can at least get back to form where he can at least function w/o an major problems.

Here we go with the cry me a river theme from the Cowboys Fans as usual for the so called "intentional" injury to PacMan Jones. Give me a break, Fallen. Trash talking was done by him before the Steelers started theirs. If you remember correctly, I saw Terrell Owens started his BS first with Ike Taylor grabbing his face mask multiple times. You want to call out things against the Steelers, I will sure as hell call it out on the Cowboys. I can't believe what I heard from you. You are really getting annoying with some of your postings anymore, no wonder some folks in here got it in for you.

I played college football for the University of Toledo as a fullback, blocking lanes for current Vikings, Chester Taylor. I was in a game as our starting fullback was injuried. I was a victim of an intentional helmet-to-helmet hit by not one BUT TWO linemen that hit me first in the neck, the other head on. I was out cold for 15 minutes on the field. Everyone thought I was dead. I was unconscious. IT WAS DAMN INTENTIONAL also. I was at the time 215 pounds bulldozing over guys 50-75 pounds bigger than I was and they was getting sick of it. So, they decided to knock the bejesus out of me. The Head Coach was livid, never ever tells his players to ever intentionally injure an opponent. They both were ejected from the game and suspended for the rest of the season as far as I heard. I laid in the hospital for a week and a half with severe pain, suffered a severe concussion, neck injury, and head trama. I had to go through two weeks of rehab to get my strength back. That my friend is no fun. 8 years later, I still suffer some ill effects of that injury. Migranes, blurred visions at times, neck spasms, back spasms, tingling in the neck, etc etc etc. Not a day go by that I never get upset and angry cause two mother<Censored>ers shattered my hopes and dreams of playing in the NFL. I could of made it. Kent State wanted me to try out for their program when I transferred, I tried to practice for a week, but I couldn't handle it anymore cause of my symptoms.

I never wish for any athlete to go through what I have been through. All I can say is, I hope Adam is alright and not in any serious career threatening situation. Priest Holmes is a good example as Giant pointed out of someone that went through a hell of an ordeal and tried to make a comeback. I actually cried for the guy cause he had the same situation I did. He was an unbelieveable talented running back. He was my idol at one time even as a Steeler Fan, I was awed over his skills.

I am done ranting for now.

wow.... that was hard for me to read Steel.... I had no idea you went through all that.

ButI just wanna divert back to the "intentional hit". Maybe some people missed this quote I posted from ESPN.com.
Jones was hurt in the first quarter Sunday when he fell on top of his muffed punt, getting caught in a scramble for the loose ball. After several players fell on him, Jones was pulled from the pile awkwardly by a Pittsburgh player. But Jones played the rest of the game.
There's no intentional hit there. He went to recover the ball he muffed and everyone crammed in their to try and get a hand on it. When you have a group of people jumping into each other at full speed and full contact to try and knock one out of the pile so he doesnt get the ball, doesn't make it intentional. I never saw the game nor the play, but thats how it's officially listed, that it was a muffed catch and everyone went for it, it just resulted in a terrible way. I hope he recovers and that its not too serious.

Wow HOS i'm sorry that happened to you. My dad football career ended in HS because some pricks and their coach told them to go out and hurt my dad.

I am sorry to hear that happened to you HOS. Didn`t know you went through that and i`m sure you would`ve been a great FB, or what every position you might`ve played in the NFL if you were given the chance. It just sucks that there are people like that who take out their angry about things in decontructive ways that could, and sometimes do, result in serious injury, or worse, just because they want to get their little bit of "revenge" and feel that`s the only way they can satisfy themselves of that anger.

I to, was a huge fan of Priest Holmes and his abilities and was deeply saddened, nearly to tears, when he had to call it quits.

Well, that's what Pittsburgh wanted to see happen [Well, at least one player]. They succeeded... Congrats, hope that made you feel more like a man. -_-
You do know Fox came over to Adam and apologized to him and made sure he was alright you know that right?

I have tried to forgive him for that, and it might be because I dont like to hold grudges but I dont necessarily hate him. I`m not a huge fan, but I dont despise him. He`s another good example of getting injured. I was sad when he got injured, because of the extent, which there were a lot of out for season injuries this year, I was/am sad that he got injured for the fact that I like the Chargers, not necessarily him in general, but the team he is on.

aw, man, I am so sorry to hear what happened to your father. That is just so wrong and immortal to the extent.

Giant went for the money also and explained exactly what happened on that very play that got Adam hurt. He muffed it, and he asked for it. Case Closed. You can't sit there and tell me not one damn football player wouldn't go heads up for that ball with all their force and weight. Common sense.

I didn`t know that even. That`s good that he went and made sure he was ok. Which goes to show it was more just trash talk than anything else. If it was anything else, he most likely would not have gone over to check on him and just stood on the sidelines satisfied, or something.

ya, thats always a good thing.

I just hope he's alright. Like I said b4, just dotn jump to conclusions, because nto everyone knows exaclty what goes down on the field. Sometimes people make apologies and make the right decisions, but we don't always hear about that.

Also, I just wanted to bring this up. It was mentioned on ESPn that a Pitt player pulled him out of the pile. A friend of mine's a Cowboys fan and he claimed that that led to the injury.

That didn't in any way lead to an injury. I've played football and whe some ones hurt you pull them out to get the pressure off.

noone on here used that, but I just want to clear that part up before anyone thinks that was in any way "a cruel" or "unnecessary" move.
Like I said, I really hope he gets better because Holmes is my second favorite all-time player. Well idk, I liked Tarkenton too, lol.

I think it was Fox that threw him out of the pile or Walt Frazier of the Steelers. I remember that, it was to protect him from all the weight that was weighing down on him. The injury happened during the pile up of the muffed catch. Of course, all the Steelers and Cowboys were going head first into the pile, who wouldn't get hurt? They teach that to you in football, lose ball, DIVE FOR THE THING. I done that many times and gotten bruised up being in the bottom of the pile trying to recover a fumble. I think someone just dove in there and got the helmet in the way of his neck possibly, but in no way was that intentional at all. Yes, Fox did come over to Adam and asked him if he was alright and patted his helmet. That is sportsmanship. The Steelers are known for high sportsmanship.

He'll be back.
Last night on Sport Center they said it wasn't as bad as it looked.
Even coach Phillips said it wasn't that bad.
Wasn't it a herniated disc he suffered?
I didn't know it was a neck injury...
Pacman is tough as shit!
He'll be back next season.

Herniated disc in the neck. However, he's still seeing neck specialists who keep sending him off to other specialists.

When Fox jerked him out of the pile it looked like Pacman hurt his arm/shoulder it looked nasty.
