We will be starting our 5th annual SI player rankings.  Last year we only go to the SF position, but I'm quite determined to get the rankings completely finished this year.

Don't be afraid to share your opinion, whether it's a popular one or not.  We will once again be going 10 spots deep at all 5 positions.

Please remember these two things, please vote on the polls and vote for the best player, don't be a homer.  Most of the polls will be open 24 hours, but if the first place vote getter gets 5 or more votes than the second vote getter than I will close the thread if I'm around. Nola and I will be guys running the polls in order to try to get this done this time around.

Remember, this is based on who is currently the best player, not who has the potential to be the best.  Who would you take today?

2015 SI PG Rankings

2) Chris Paul
3) Russell Westbrook
4) Kyrie Irving
5) John Wall
6) Mike Conley
7) Damian Lillard

Kyle Lowry

to kind of continue the conversation with what CC said, I don't think he's overrated depending on who you talk to. He's not an elite PG, but he's a very good one imo. I think if you really want to knock him, you'd probably say he's not all that efficient, but he's essentially been a career .55 true shooting percentage guy, which is good for a guard, and even though he was just .527 this season that is still average for guards. He's a good passer, and a tenacious defender. Personally I just look at it as Lillard is a great offensive player, but the dude couldn't even defend the chair, and you can't have that in your PG, maybe you can get away with it at the wing positions but not at the point of attack. I'd just take the good offensive PG who is also a great defender over the great offensive PG that couldn't defend the light post. But that's just me.

He was good up until about late January early February. Then he really fell off.

I've yet to vote. I'm kind of torn between Teague and Lowry.

My ISP was attacked so I can't really do much with these until I get my internet back.
Luckily this is a close poll lol.
