We will be starting our 5th annual SI player rankings.  Last year we only go to the SF position, but I'm quite determined to get the rankings completely finished this year.

Don't be afraid to share your opinion, whether it's a popular one or not.  We will once again be going 10 spots deep at all 5 positions.

Please remember these two things, please vote on the polls and vote for the best player, don't be a homer.  Most of the polls will be open 24 hours, but if the first place vote getter gets 5 or more votes than the second vote getter than I will close the thread if I'm around. Nola and I will be guys running the polls in order to try to get this done this time around.

Remember, this is based on who is currently the best player, not who has the potential to be the best.  Who would you take today?

If he was a starter he would be top 10 easily.

I'm not even his biggest fan but is anyone else surprised that Chandler Parsons got no love at all?

The SF position is deeper than I thought it was.

I'm going with Chandler, probably would have taken him two picks ago.

I think Iggy had a solid season, but I think he's being a little overrated because of who he plays for, and because he was the Finals MVP obviously.

I just can't imagine if you had the choice to take Parsons or Iggy you'd turn down Parsons.

Tobias Harris really doesn't belong in the top 10 imo. I'm not sure Middleton does either and I'm a huge fan of his.

I think Middleton is close, agree with Harris though.

I think he was a guy that was really underutilized in Milwaukee this past year. When you have guys like Michael Carter-Williams, OJ Mayo, and Ersan Ilysova taking up possessions some better players are going to get underutilized. All of those guys had higher usage ratings than Middleton. I mean once MCW got there he had a usage rate that rivaled guys like Monta Ellis, Damian Lillard, John Wall, Kyrie Irving, and so on. He's not a guy that you can get to run the PnR for you, but he's a good off the ball offensive player. Really good running off screens, cutting off the ball, he's a guy you can reverse the ball to and he can put it on the court a few times and still be efficient. I really like him. I'd say after those top seven guys you can fit him somewhere in there.

FTR, I didn't even vote for Parsons once for this list. His defensive issues really hampered him this past season.
