We are not sure which teams will finish where, but the picture is betting clearer.
Who will win the playoffs?

All the teams are known now, but the order is not.
AL -- Tampa and Oakland are playing for the Wild Card, but they aren't sure who hosts yet.
The Twins play the Yankees, with NY getting home field.
Houston hosts the WC winner.
NL-- St Louis and Milwaukee will represent the Central, but not certain who wins the division and who goes to the play-in game. Washington will be in the Wild Card game, but the host team is not certain, yet. The Dodgers hold home field as long as they last in the NL.

Crazy to think that Cleveland and Boston aren't in it this year. What a wild year.

I'm real excited though. I'm gonna be bartending Sundays at a nearby pub now so I'm hoping there's some good crowds for playoff baseball on top of NFL Sunday.

Doesn’t get much better matchup wise then Yanks/Twins lol. Good team that mashes the ball but there always seems to be a hump these guys can’t get over when they play us.

I doubt it. Would be an incredible upset. Besides I think baseball needs a Yankees Astros series again.

Either that or something like Minnesota vs Oakland. Two smaller markets. I'd love to see that.

Oakland/Houston would be a fun Divisional round matchup. Seems like every time Minnesota makes the playoffs they have to play the Yanks lol

St Louis wins the NL Central and Milwaukee will play in Washington in the wild card game.
The Twins, Yankees, Astros and Dodgers all won 100+ games this year.

Agreed. Tough to beat Scherzer in a 1-Game playoff. Milwaukee’s gonna have to run up that pitch count and get to the pen.

Who are the Rays projected to throw here? Morton?

The outcome of tonight's game wasn't a huge surprise to most, but it was a lot more difficult than many thought it would be. The Nationals "put the curly W in the books" because they picked each other up. Scherzer didn't have the start he would have wanted, but a lot of the credit has to go to Grandal and Thames for hitting decent pitches out of the park. Juan Soto came up with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 8th against Hader and got a pitch he could line into the outfield. All three runs scored and he was caught in a rundown between 2nd and 3rd. Strasburg got the win and Hader the loss.
Now they wait for the trip to LA.

With Charlie Morton and it being the A’s in October I have to say Rays but I wouldn’t be too surprised either way

I like the A's tonight. They are at home and have been playing really well. They also have Jesus Luzardo.
