#WhyNotUs Sactown let’s see it this year!

So excited to see the growth from Fox, Bagley, and Giles. Luke not scared to unleash his youth unlike Dave.

Wish we could’ve gotten a true lockdown presence at the 5 but I think Dedmon fits what we need well. Should be a fun year!

Actually excited about the NBA season for the first time since pre-Decision however many years ago. It's a good feeling

Was Vince Carter the last UNC player to make an all star team?

Coby needs to break that streak.

Probably a combination of the NBA making a lot of money on these matchups and also reducing the Lakers’ travel schedule since they had to play a couple games in China too

Reactions from Night 1, 10/22:

Is Fred Vanvleet a potential star in this league? I don't want to overreact to one game by any stretch, but since the ECF last year, he's playing at a completely different level. He's likely too small to find ways to score high totals when his 3s aren't falling, but he's a pitbull who will find other ways to contribute.

Toronto needs to commit to the defensive side of the ball in order to have any chance at repeating in the Eastern Conference. Even of they do, Siakam has to take another step offensively. He had 34 last night. We shall see.

Not a good look for LeBron and AD to lose to Kawhi + role players.

I didn't see that thread when I checked. My bad, guys.

Anyway, I think we should shoot for more NBA activity this year now that the league is more varied and we don't already know what's going to happen. What do the rest of you say?

And just like that, I'm sick of basketball.
