And here comes the Yankees... I never feel safe with Porcello on the mound against the Yankees even if he has an ERA in the 2.00's.  I'm saying this knowing that it will come down to our offense, not his pitching.

Now that the Yankees won the series and are going for the sweep, am I going to get the hate? Probably.

But I knew what I was talking about. We might salvage the last game, but who knows. Right now, the Yankees are better.

I honestly had very low expectations for this team, so I think unless he makes a few more horrible blunders his job should be safe through the season.

But right now things look awful. I think Cabrera is the only starter batting over .260.

It won't last for him either, but he will probably hover around .280.

I still like the Mets, though I'm thinking I was wrong about them. My faith was held a bit in Harvey coming back and obviously he won't do that with the Mets anymore.

Their potentially great starters aren't doing spectacular, but their offense isn't too bad. I still think it's adequate offense.

Everyone says Eduardo Rodriguez has good stuff.  Well, when is he going to capitalize on it?  Three seasons in and his good stuff still can't last enough innings.  Gets strikeouts and a lot of walks, but he's not economical.  When he starts getting through innings and games, then we'll talk.
