Yea i definetly see your point, but do you really think big FAs going to want to go to philly and play with these young dudes for now, until oladipos contract expires?

Plus embiid simmons and whoever they draft next month are all on rookie contracts for a few more years so theres breathing room cap wise

I think molding their starting 5 thru draft and a few trades would be a smart thing for them to do, because yea we hear lowry wanting to go there but thats one of those hometown situations u know, but i see your point for sure

I think Embiid gets paid after next season, no?

But yeah, I guess cap room is not that important for them right now.

I just wouldn't want him if I was them.
He might give them 5 wins more on the season, so you might as well keep drafting high

Yea , dipo is pretty average

Not the greatest Sam Prestis move there by extending him last summer before seeing what hes about

I trust him to get them out the shit hole tho, he knows theres no time to waste

lol philly isn't trading a first to take on that awful oladipo contract

dude is on a $100M contract and averaged 10ppg in the postseason as the "best" off-ball shooter on his team, with .344/.240 splits. i wouldn't go near that deal, even if you have the space for it

philly does need to swing some trades and dipo would fit there but his contract is too fat for them to take on right now.

There's plenty of players that aren't X million dollar players that are making that money based on the new CBA

so because a handful of teams (lakers, blazers) gave out awful contracts, it negates oladipo's poor value?

kanter to the nets makes sense because they don't have their pick this year and he'll be a nice expiring when they do have theirs. but that doesn't make sense for okc

Youre making him out to be like a total scrub

With all the cap raises and everyone gettin paid a shit load of money, atm hes prolly worth like 12-15 mill... dont make it bigger than it is, he had his best statistical season. Yea he shit the bed in the playoffs, but again, his first playoffs ever and only 5 games

He can be worth that 20 mill by mid next season all we know
