Rondo and Sebastian Telfair are the only guys that I've ever seen selfishly pad assist numbers.

I bet Harden does it too

I mean, who else would you trust to get those points and assists and rebounds anyway? It's like when people criticized Kobe back in the day when he was playing with Kwame and Smush Parker. Of course he didn't pass the ball, would you rather Kobe try to score himself or look for an assist to one of them?

I dont understand the stat padding argument for Westbrook or Harden. Neither does it. They both have big numbers for their teams because they have to. They dont have 2 or 3 other superstars surrounding them. Nobody accused Steph of stat padding last year when he shot as many 3's as he did. Harden has changed his role for his team because that's what his new coach asked of him. I think it is a credit to his team-first attitude. Harden and Westbrook are two of the top 5 guys in the league that you want with the ball in their hands when you have to have points. They might be the top 2 honestly. They have both shown that they can put teams on their backs and carry them. If they werent putting up big numbers people would be hating on them, and when they do, the haters still find their ways. Stop hating and appreciate the elite level of talent that the league is currently enjoying.

I don't care
I have james as mvp
Probably russell 2nd

Its just funny watching russell. Its clearly on his mind
Lebron has a million near triple doubles. 9 rebounds, 9 assists

Russell goes crazy when hes close and starts fighting with his teammates for rebounds and getting pissed when they don't shoot after he passes
James knows his numbers too, he's just not as demonstrative

Whatever though. Russell can pad all he wants on this team for many years as they get swept in round 1 or miss the playoffs
Perfect scenario because then people get to say "well what else should he do. Well he has to" if you think to criticize him

Its cool that russ is going to average a triple double

I definitely thought lebron would be the first to do it. And he can if he was a stat padded, but thats not in his dna
I definitely would have thought hed have done it by now. But he likes to chill during the season

(First to do it since orob. Yes I know. Calm down)

It doesn't count if you have to round right?

Oscar actually did it

Robertson played like 44 minutes a night and on a team that averaged 20 more possessions
