His knee isn't going to be any healthier than it is right now. It's 100% mental at this point.

The only thing he has left to do is play. He's going to struggle at first, but that's part of the recovery process.

You said his game depends on his knees (as you reiterated). He is at no greater risk of injuring his knee than any other player in the league at this point.

Sitting out the rest of the season does him no good. 10 months after surgery, his knee is completely healthy. He's just going to get increasingly more apprehensive if he continues to wait. Shake off the rust now to get it out of the way. Nobody is expecting him to come back and lead the Bulls to the finals this year. Get those reps in this season, maybe we can go on a run in the playoffs, but if not, he'll have several games under his belt, and 110% ready to go next season.

thats not true. his knee may be 100% but its not as strong as it should be right when a doctor says hes cleared to play.
