Blake has actually made some strides this season. He's been more effective posting up and his percentages from outside the paint have been better.

Difference is he's gone from 6.8 shots at the rim per game last season to 4.7 this season.

Read somewhere that he's actually been one of the better defenders in the league this year too.

Found it

Per Synergy, Duncan allows 0.96 points per defensive play (301st in the NBA) and Griffin allows 0.69 (10th).
