So are Verlander, Felix, and James Shields. It obviously didn't play much into his decisions.

<Censored> took CJ Wilson over CC

My guess is Lester, Humbrer, and Pineda replace those 3

and just wondering, why is there a DH spot on the ballot, if the game is in a NL park?

New rule that they implemented, every All-Star has a DH now, doesn't matter if the park is AL or NL

David Robertson was also snubbed.

Mark and CC not being there is ridiculous.

Even more ridiculous that Mark didn't make the Final Vote thing.
Russell Martin made the game with a .220 average and 10 homers, and Derek Jeter made it with .260 and 20 RBIs. I feel like that is a fair trade off..

No, because I could care less whether those two made out, but CC and Tex being snubbed is ridiculous

CC wasn't even the most deserving pitcher that was left off and there was no way they could have Tex on the team if Konerko wasn't there, because he is clearly having the better year.

Tex has a higher WAR than Konerko does

CC has the 3rd highest WAR in the MLB (amongst pitchers)

Just realized Andrew McCutchen didn't make it, that is easily one of the biggest snubs this year

What's wrong with using WAR for pitchers?

They're equal except for average, and Asdrubal makes up for it by being 100x the defender that Peralta dreams about being. Plus he is carrying a team, not hitting 7th and 8th behind all-star hitters seeing fastballs constantly.

No question that Asdrubal deserves it over Peralta.
Please inform me how Asdrubal is 100x the defender that Peralta dreams about lmao.
Just because you watched Jhonny in Cleveland doesn't mean he is the same player he is now. He has been a very good defender for us, and isn't some sort of liability everyone claimed he would be. He has shown pretty solid range and has only committed 4 errors (Cabrera has 5). So stop making stupid ass assumptions like that.

It's not a stupid assumption.. I've watched both play defense for many years, and Asdrubal is clearly the better defender. Not even close. I've seen both play for well over 300 games. You've seen Asdrubal play maybe 20 times.

And you've seen him play how many times this year?

Defensive range isn't something you improve on at the age of 29. He's not a good defender, but whatever you want to believe.

yeah Tex>Miggy and Kornerko this year

CC wouldnt be able to play anyways, he's pitching that Sunday, so he'd be replaced
First, it's Konerko, not Kornerko. LOL

Second, I'm taking .319 / .390 / .569 (Konerko) over .244 / .350 / .532 (Teixeria) all day.

Miguel Cabrera also dominates Tex. .324 / .444 / .567 (4th best line in the big leagues), probably could argue for him over Adrian Gonzalez at 1B.

Starters should have been -

C - B. McCann (ATL) .909 OPS
1B - P. Fielder (MIL) .998 OPS
2B - R. Weeks (MIL) .819 OPS
3B - A. Ramirez (CHC) .822 OPS
SS - J. Reyes (NYM) .927 OPS
LF - R. Braun (MIL) .961 OPS
CF - M. Kemp (LAD) 1.021 OPS
RF - L. Berkman (STL) 1.014 OPS

C - A. Avila (DET) .902 OPS
1B - A. Gonzalez (BOS) .990 OPS
2B - R. Cano (NYY) .862 OPS
3B - K. Youkilis (BOS) .867 OPS
SS - J. Peralta (DET) .907 OPS
OF - M. Joyce (TB) .880 OPS
OF - C. Granderson (NYY) .947 OPS
OF - J. Bautista (TOR) 1.146 OPS
DH - D. Ortiz (BOS) .947 OPS
