2008 Playoffs Thread

I am going to be the most unenthusiastic Vikings' fan on the planet...if Childress is not fired this off-season.

Not only do I blame Childress for much of this team's failures in 2008, but I am also convinced that Tarvaris Jackson is not the answer. I am pissed off right now, extremely pissed off and I am going on record in saying that Cedric Griffin, Benny Sapp, and Tyrell Johnson couldn't cover a <Censored>ing a barn.

I would rather the Vikings not make the <Censored>ing playoffs, like the typically do, rather than go out like this. I am officially sending Joe Buck a death threat for saying the Eagles were heading to Giants Stadium at the 2-minute warning and I am sending Zygmund Wilf a petition to fire Brad Childress.

I count down the days until Adrian Peterson is a free agent and leaves the Vikings for a team that has a realistic shot at the Super Bowl.

I'm making my one guarantee for the season this week with a win over the Chargers.
It will be a blowout.

lol why is everyone that goes against Chargers predict a blowout? Against the Colts people thought they were going to get blown out, now against Pittsburgh everyone's calling a blowout. The Chargers in their 8 losses, havent lost any of them by more than 8 points. Only ONE game (The Bills) has gone by where the Chargers lost by more than a TD. They have been in every single game since the beginning of the season. Caught on fire in December, and now they're in a hot streak.

I'm really looking forward to next weekend. Although honestly I don't see a win especially since it's in Pittsburgh, I'm anticipating another game that goes down to the wire.

He might be... he might as well be I should say. Reports are saying he has a detached tendon and needs surgery ASAP. At least that's what I read in one report, everything else says strained groin, but even so, he was out most of the game against Indy, and the Bolts still won.

He wasn't very effective in the first match against Pitt' anyway, and we only lost that game by a point.

My answer for that is: Darren Sproles. Opposing teams are hating this guy, Pitt should watch out for him too... and maybe a come back game for Vincent Jackson.

I expect a good one.

And we saw what he managed against the Colts.

Sure, Steelers defense is better than the Colts, by far, but it doesn`t necessarily mean that Sproles cant slip away from a few defenders for another big day.
