My Third Edition of a Mock Draft
1. Detroit Lions: Matthew Stafford, Quarterback, UGA
Matthew Stafford is definitely the most talented quarterback in the draft in my eyes and has proven that he has all of the on the field and even off the field intangibles. All teams are stunned by his...
Yeah Cheato, after plays the guys are all acting excited but Motivation as in, during a play im not going to quit because I know something magical could happen, next time you watch a game with Steve Nash, Chris Paul, Jason Kidd or Deron Williams, watch the way their team mates move off the ball...
That was a mis-statement, i don't believe Steve Nash is the most valuable player of all time, but he is definitely a valuable player, I agree about MJ, Magic, and Bird and I believe in his prime shaq was more valuable than Nash because of how he racked up fouls and physically wore down other teams
Just the way no one would ever dare quit when Steve Nash had the ball, Jason Kidd was the same way with the Nets, he made the entire team play better because they knew never to quit when that man had the ball in his hands, and he gave them a sense that they could beat anybody
elcheato you don't get it, it's not just about the amount of assists but how his presence automatically changes everyone on the team. Because of Steve Nash's presence no one on that suns team would ever quit on a play because they knew because Steve Nash had the ball that a play was never dead...
Clearly more valuable?
Steve Nash was probably the most valuable player to ever play on a team, He was the only difference on his team from the previous year and made them a force by himself, he made everyone around him better, making him valuable. Kobe and Lebron at the time scored more points...
The standards haven't been changed, the player who wins MVP is supposed to be someone who is valuable to their teams success, that is what the award is, and if you want to say who is the most valuable to the success that their team goes through you can say that it is anyone other than Dwyane Wade.
Something wrong with the NBA? Lets break down the award:
Most Valuable Player
Definition of Valuable:
1. having considerable monetary worth; costing or bringing a high price: a valuable painting; a valuable crop.
2. having qualities worthy of respect, admiration, or esteem: a valuable friend...
I honestly have been adamant about this situation the entire year. I picked my MVP about half way through the season and I think he has done enough to keep that status as of now. Lebron James and Kobe Bryant have had wonderful years but I don't think anyone has done what Dwyane Wade has done...

I think that Lebron bases his game off of being physically dominant and out powering and running past his opponents. Kobe uses complete skill, he hits shots that Lebron couldn't dream of hitting and he does things that no one else in the NBA will ever do. I honestly believe Kobe is better than...
