I always want to see the Big 10 teams win their bowl games, and would always like to face an undefeated Big 10 team, for a chance to give them that 1st loss. I like seeing as many Big 10 teams, as possible, make bowl games.
Now, if MSU and OSU were losing games, that's fine by me too.
I'm surprised that he didn't stay with the Orioles. Coming off a good year, for him, in an increased role, now we'll see how he does in a more subdued role, which is what he's more used to.
Plus, he may have a good chance of playing more than some 4th OF's might with Werth and Harper having...
Wings beat the Devils 3-1 with Gustavsson in goal, who only had 11 shots on him. Still nice to get a win without Zetterberg and Datsyuk, which isn't an easy task.
It sure can be. He was supposed to improve and take over with his bigger role on the team, become the essential leader, but he's seem to stay about the same, maybe even take a step back from his freshman year.
Wow, even taking a shot at Jay-Z. Sounds like that's just his odd way of expressing his anger about losing Cano. Since his mood changes so often, not long from now he'll probably be say how much he wishes they still had Cano.
I think this week was a last attempt for him, to see if he could give it a go, and even practicing it looked like he might. It wouldn't make sense to not shut him down, because realistically, they are just playing out the rest of the season. No reason to have him out there and risk hurting...
It seemed that they were finally going to get over that hump, but took a big step back this year. No way should they have lost 11 straight. It's unfortunate because the team wasn't great when he took over, and it's been getting better. It's not a surprise by any means though.
I didn't believe for a moment that he was coming back to the Yankees, and now it's good to see him go to Seattle. That's a team with some nice pieces, not a great team, but they can be competitive at times. The only problem is that it's a 10 year deal, those deals can end up hurting a team, on...
The perception of the Big Ten is inaccurate. I mean, we have two teams ranked in the top 10, which is a good chance of having two teams in BCS games as well, it could've been three but Penn State prevented that from happening. It's been an off year for the conference, and yes the SEC is better...
This crossed my mind the other day, while I was looking at "Movie Review Thread" and I was thinking about maybe if we added one for TV Shows, because we talk about shows in general. It wouldn't take away from discussion of specific TV shows, just like when a specific movie comes out, and a topic...
I have no problem with the fine, or the amount, but what I find excessive is this potentially affecting future draft picks. That's unnecessary, for something that is rather minor. He shouldn't have stepped onto the field, but coaches stand on that white line often, and sometimes out onto the...
I went with Cespedes. I believe he is more valuable to the A's, but when it comes to trading either player, I see Oakland getting more back for Cespedes, compared to trading Lowrie.
Things have a different feel, because of the changes, but I don't see it as necessarily as downgrading. Losing Prince does leave a hole that needs to be filled to protect Miggy, which is probably another bat that we will bring in. If not, it's not crazy to think that someone, on the current...
Much better day for the Big Ten today. Went from 2-4 yesterday, to 4-2 today to end the Big Ten/ACC Challenge in a tie, and I'll gladly take that tie. Would've liked to see a win, but the way the first day turned out, it was a lot of work to manage a tie.
