I haven't given up on him I'm just frustrated with his performance as of now. If we gave him a league minimum contract, I'd be more than happy. But his contract is really what irks me.

Yeah Heatley is a great player and I love him, but Cheech was my 2nd favorite player on the team. I basically died inside when i heard the "marleau for heatley" rumors.

I'm so glad he was okay. I was offered to go to the game but couldn't make it because I was out of town. It was so scary seeing it for the first time, and seeing his arm motionless. I hope he recovers well.

He can't live up to his contract - period. If his UZR was Randy Winn/Ishikawa status, then I might give him the benefit of the doubt, but it's a measly 1.3. For his contract and lack of offensive performance, I want at LEAST an 8 UZR.

The thing that gets me away from trading him is just HOW much untapped potential he has. TONS of K's, TONS of walks. If he can limit the walks, it's easy to see him in a sub 3 ERA. I wouldn't rush MadBum into a starting role, I'd use him in long relief. Maybe it's just me but I like a R/L/R/L/R...

At first, I was allllllllllll over this guy's jock. 4-8 after taking over halfway through the season? YES PLEASE. But now I realize he's a dumbass. He can't control his anger nor call plays. Can't wait for him to lose his job. Bring back chucky :(

+1 to that I'm on the Beltre/Bay bandwagon I also want Pineiro if we can't work something out to keep JSanch/Penny this year.
