No doubt. But you still have to play who's in front of you. They didn't choose their schedule. He's gaining confidence for later, and what better way than to have it against crappy defenses?
Remeber when McNabb was benched last season, and Kolb came in against the Ravens? How smart was that for...
Looks like the Jets have fleeced the Browns twice this season. Once for the Mark Sanchez trade-up in the draft, and now for BE17. Good work NYJ front office.
I can agree with Beason as a great pick-up for the Eagles.
I know for sure they'll draft one in the first in 2010, or sign a big namer in FA.
Either way, the position needs to be addressed in the offseason.
I went to a Laker preseason game, and it is evident that the replacement refs wiil be a problem this year. They really have a hard time calling the game the way it should be. I for one would much rather let the players decide the game, than some newby refs.
DeSean Jackson started off this season with 3 straight games of having a TD play of over 60+ yards.
Question: Who was the last player to do that in any 3 games of a season in the NFL?
I watched every snap of the Eagles v Bucs game, and I'd say that Johnson has a lot of potential. He can move around really well, obviously, and is doing a better job keeping his eyes downfield. Unfortunately, the Eagles busted 22 or 23 zero blitzes (7 or more guys rushing) and forced 2 int's on...
I saw a shot in the locker room after the Ravens game, and Marvin Lewis gave the game ball to Zimmer, who called an amazing defensive game. Real class act there.
Best wishes to him and his family.
I'd say Jacksonville makes the most sense for the move. They are having trouble selling out games, and really aren't that competitive this year. Move the new Los Angeles team to the AFC west, and have the Chiefs be a part of the AFC south, and you are good to go with that realignment.
Glad to see some Eagles getting love around here.
Another name to watch out for on their team is Brodrick Bunkley, the starting DT. That man is a beast.
As for another team, I'd watch out for Rashard Mendenhall. He may be taking Parker's spot for good real soon.
What blows my mind is the fact that the Redskins have played a team with 0 wins coming into each game this season, and they still haven't found a way to get more W's. I would be surprised to see Zorn still around after this season, if he makes it that far.
Campbell may be on his last leg, as well.
