More than ten teams are showing interest in free-agent closer Jonathan Broxton.

Teams are looking for the right-hander's medical records after his 2011 season was cut short follow elbow surgery.

Broxton had 79 saves with the Dodgers over the last four seasons.

yup

here's an example

June 2010, right when he started to break down.

the infamous yankee game. dodgers up 4 in the 9th, still bring in broxton to work his 4th game in 5 days and a day after pitching 1 and a third innings. torre left in him there to die, 48 f'ing pitches

4th game in 5 days totaled 99 pitches

that's just flat out wrong

im not saying those 4 games killed him, but he seriously wasnt the same after that. and remeber, he was an all-star in 2010 and was flat out dominant up until that point. maybe he was already injured, but who knows
