Not really.

He doesn't have smooth hips, the reason why most WRs are good route runners are because they're smooth in the hips and can cut along with everything else that comes with Running routes.
I was talking about receivers in general. Take a look at the best route runners in the NFL, usually you'll notice those guys have great work ethics. Now of course you have to be talented, have smooth hips, and transition well, but players can improve as route runners.

Next drive, Akeem Ayers tipped his pass and it was picked off by Alterraun Verner.
Akeem is really playing like a star so far in these two games.

WOOOW.
Jamie Harper is lighting up this Rams defense. He looks surprisingly fast!

Matt Hasselbeck is down. It doesn't look good. Back/neck injury.

I know, great catch by Cook too. I'm loving what I see out of Locker. Not afraid to take shots.

Hasselbeck got the winded knocked out of him, should be OK!

That was an impressive throw to just come in the game and manage that throw.

I'm glad Hasselbeck is okay. I doubt we'll see him again today. Don't want to risk the injury.

'Nowhere to go but up' for Bengals

After ugly preseason opener, they hope for sign of progress

Well, I do too, better be some kind of sign of progress or I won't be feeling too good.

Tonight's game at New Meadowlands Stadium will be an indicator of whether the Bengals' mistakes in their 34-3 loss to the Lions are chronic or correctable.
