Grip, that's what the guys on sportsnet said at least. I don't really got it, cause almost all of the sticks come with grip now, but yeah..

I just don't see the point of taping it all the way down. Like, I taped to around half way down on my one stick, because it helped me with hand-positioning on my face-offs, but I don't see why you need it ALL the way down.
