If you are a relief pitcher and constantly getting injured it doesn't look good. Starters who get injured can convert to being a reliever, but he is already getting injured ever year not as a starter. I would consider retirement if I was Zumaya. He's going to be risking more then just Baseball soon if he keeps getting injured.. Last thing you want is to have something wrong forever.

I agree with what your saying.
But Zumaya has bounced back 100% from his previous injuries this year. And is expected to fully recover from this one too. Bone injuries are relatively better than muscle/tendon injuries.
None of his injuries have been related, so as long as they all heal 100% I don't think he should call it quits yet. But if he re-injuries a previous injury, then yes maybe retirement should be considered. But as for now, I think he should continue to pitch.
