Of these options, which walk-off is the worst to lose a game because of it. Instead of making a choice for every single thing, I grouped some together. As in different hits and different homers are together, instead of listing single, double, triple, etc. If you pick one of those, that are grouped together, specific which you believe is the worst. Discuss.

Losing the game on an error or to a homerun is probably the worst for me. I'd say an error mostly though; no one wants to lose a game knowing that the other team got by without the full effort. It's like giving a free pass to the other team and taking embarrassment.

Tie between walk off walk, hit batter and wild pitch/passed ball.

IMO a pitching messup or error, because for the most part it's in your control. I chose balk.

I'd say walk off balk. It'd be damn hard to get that taste out of your mouth.

dodgers had a balk-off a few years ago. 3B runner(casey blake) was dancing around trolling the pitcher so hard

i would have to say hit batter or passed ball/wild pitch. toughie

i hate walks, but sometimes the umps are pieces of shit with their zones
even though technically you control walks as a pitcher, i understand if the ump is being stupid

HBP on the other hand. unless it's a BS HBP, it's bad
and the WP. yikes

gonna go with HBP though

I'd either go with a walk or a homer. Those are equally as painful lol.

Also, a play at home plate that is called safe is always tough too.

A bad one would be, if down 1 2 outs, the runner rounds third and scores at home to tie it up, but he missed 3rd base and loses the appeal at 3rd to end the game

To me, I would say that a walk off hit batter is the worst way to lose a game.

The walk off homer or any kind of hit is easier to stomach because that was just a batter taking advantage of a good or bad pitch.

Walk off hit batter is a pitch getting away, in a pressure situation, and all you can do is watch the guy walk home, without being able to stop him as he crosses the plate.

It's similar to a walk off walk or balk, but as Mexi mentioned, some umps strike zones can be bad, and balks are a very iffy thing.
