Card Notes:
- On August 2, 2010, the bout between Nate Marquardt and Rousimar Palhares was moved to UFC Fight Night 22 and promoted to the new main event.

- The original main event was scheduled to be Demian Maia vs. Alan Belcher, however, Belcher had to withdraw due to an injured retina. As a result of this, Maia has been moved to this card and will now face Mario Miranda.

- The event will feature the MMA debut of professional boxer and current IBA heavyweight champion James Toney.

- UFC 118 will also feature preliminary fights live on Spike TV.


Should be an interesting card.

A motivated BJ Penn is a very scary thing. I bet he takes this one rather easily.

Also the Penn/Maynard fight should be a really good one. The worst thing about it is that I'm going to have to root against Maynard. Love the dude, but KenFlo is a favorite of mine.

Well Frankie Edgar totally outclassed BJ. Edgar definitely looked like the better faster, and the motivated fighter. Edgar vs Maynard fight his gonna be interesting.
