Ed Reed. He's so much more of a playmaker. TP does fit the style of his team but Ed fits the role of a safety much more.

To me this is easy. Ed Reed. He just amazes me with what he can do, and TP amazes me as well, but not as much as Ed does. I mean, he has accomplished more, and even though TP has 2 SB rings, Ed has NFL Records to his name, and has less tackles, but a heck of a lot more picks.

Ed Reed.

Why? Because Troy plays for the Steelers.

In all seriousness, they are both great football players but I give the edge to Ed Reed.

Ed Reed because he is more of a true DB. For some reason, Polamalu seems more like an LB than a Safety.

Ed Reed. He's the guy every QB must know where he is or it'll be a pick going to Reed. Polamalu isn't feared like Reed is

I love both guy's but i have to go with Polamalu cause that guy is in every play. He might not get as many Int's as Reed, but he helps out on every play and you can't ask for more. Oh yeah and i gotta support the hair lol cause i also have long hair.

I went with tp because even though he doesn't have as much interceptions as reed he still seems more active on d when it comes to hits and sacks.

It really depends on what you like more. Possibly the greatest ballhawk at FS ever, or a freelancing SS that will knock your ass out.

I hate the Steelers, but in a fan like way love Troy Polamalu. I'm also a Ravens fan/supporter (you choose the term) so this was extremely tough for me. I think Ed Reed is an extremely talented Safety, however... Polamalu seems like the better playmaker. Sure, Reed has 26 more interceptions, but I think Polamalu has a better understanding of where the ball is, and how to get to it. Who remembers that game last season versuses the Chargers? Polamalu looked like a baseball player out there, he scooped the ball up right before it hit the ground for the INT as to where in Baseball, that would be an out.
