It just still baffles me that the management appears to have not thought about the backlash NOT calling them the Jets would have.

And really, we are going to backlash at them because a freakin name? Meanwhile they spend $170 million for the team to bring it here..
Something's not right there..

They should, can, and will name it whatever they want, and I might not be happy, but I will be thankful they gave us NHL hockey.

I'm not gonna be really mad with what they go with. I'm saying that on the surface because yes, I am grateful to have a team and ultimately a decision will be made.

I just think they need to hear the voice of the public, too. They are the ones who are going to keep this team living.

Strome looks like he'll be an all-star though. Super talented guy.
And a great leader. I'm just worried he'll be taken ahead of us.

That's the home opener for the Winnipeg team. My friend, who's Dad is best friends with Chipman said that.

He also said it's down to the Falcons and Jets for the name.
