The overhaul is (mostly) complete.

Or, at least, most of the heavy lifting is done. There will likely be a couple of roster-balance-type moves (J.J. Barea), but the new lineup has largely taken shape.

In: Zach LaVine, Andrew Wiggins, Anthony Bennett, Thaddeus Young, Mo Williams, Glenn Robinson III

Out: Kevin Love, Luc Richard Mbah a Moute, Alexey Shved, Dante Cunningham, J.J. Barea (likely), Othyus Jeffers

There remains a slight chance that Cunningham could return, and Barea is all but certain to be traded or bought-out, as Williams was clearly signed to be the new backup point guard. Nobody wants a third-string J.J. Barea, thats for sure.

So heres what the depth chart looks like on the morning of August 24:

PG: Ricky Rubio, Mo Williams, (J.J. Barea)
SG: Kevin Martin, Zach LaVine, Corey Brewer
SF: Andrew Wiggins, Chase Budinger, Glenn Robinson III
PF: Thaddeus Young, Anthony Bennett, Robbie Hummel
C: Nikola Pekovic, Gorgui Dieng, Ronny Turiaf

How could they break up Pretty Ricky, Sexy Alexy and Acceptable Face Chase?

Corey Brewer should be listed as second string SF. Dieng should be the starter, imo. Pekovic is a good player but he can't protect the rim.

Pek is much better than Dieng.

They are going to be an interesting team to watch though.

Gorgui Dieng showed really good signs towards the end of the season, idk. I think they're better off just starting him and seeing if he can handle it. They aren't going to win anyways.

That's my point. I think they should continue to develop Dieng. He was pumping out fairly consistent double doubles, even with his limited offense, and he can actually play defense. Pekovic might be a very good player, but he doesn't protect the rim, and he doesn't stay healthy. It doesn't pay to give him starter minutes when his body can't handle it.

I Feel like they should try and trade Pek for some young players and picks and then let dieng start so he can develop

If I had the free time to watch league pass, I'd buy league pass to watch the Wolves.

If Lavine and Wiggins both pan out they'll be really good in like 2-3 years.

What happened to 701?

FYI, that's North Dakota's area code.
