Chris Mortensen of ESPN reports that there are rumors of the team’s interest in Smith, who by virtue of the fact that he was the fastest quarterback in Indy makes him an obvious candidate to play for the Raiders.

If the Raiders take him, Carson Palmer likely would be cut. And if Terrelle Pryor remains as the backup, the Raiders would become the first team to go two deep with mobile quarterbacks — which would allow them to run the same offense with either guy. Unlike the Redskins or the 49ers or the Panthers or any other team with a mobile starter.

Two corners who came out of the combine with significantly elevated draft stock were Jamar Taylor of Boise State and Darius Slay of Mississippi State. Taylor could go top forty while its not out of the question that Slay is selected ahead of his teammate, Jonathan Banks.

I've liked Slay alot beforehand, and I like him more. Wouldn't be upset with him in Rd2

Jarvis Jones just ran damn near a 4.9 forty.

Where is he even projected to go?

I honestly don't even know how well he played last year, but I guess he must have been decent if he's going to get drafted after playing the line for only 1 year.

Some have him going 3rd round, some have 5th. Knowing BB, I wouldn't be surprised to see him pick him up in the 2nd (He took Tavon Wilson in the 2nd last year, and he had a 6th round projection).

He's gotten a lot of praise from Urban, and body wise he is quite similar to Solder and Vollmer. plus Scar is one of the best OL coaches in the NFL, so he could coach him up a bit.

He needs to gain a little more weight, but he weighed in at the combine similarly to how Solder did and Vollmer did at his pro day.

Why spend $6-8M on Vollmer when you can spend a 2nd on Fragel and use that cap on some depth overall?

Geno Smiff is working out for the Bills today. He's #1 on my list now for who I would like the Bills to draft.

You're gonna be mad as hell when they draft another corner.

I'm starting to think the Saints pick will come down to Jones vs Ogletree.

He is versatile, but his strength is coverage due to his speed. Not as much edge rushing

I want EJ Manuel, but I know he'll probably end up not being good.
