WTF!? I know he needs to work plate discipline but defensively, he's the best option. You cannot hold this kid back b/c Vazquez is healthy. Vaz isn't the catcher of the future and the Red Sox should know Catchers develop at a longer progression than most positions.

I actually don't mind this decision. We have three quality catchers. He could use time at AAA.

That being said, Vazquez better come ready to play and hit.

The best solution would be cutting Sandoval and retaining Swihart at the MLB level.

I would agree. Hanny can get some time in at 1B when they give Hanley a night off or DH him to give Papi a rest.
