A new stadium construction is expected to be approved for the Los Angeles suburb of Industry by October 15 but the developers who are building it don't want to wait till their $800 million, 600-acre project is completed to bring a team to the City of Angels, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune.

In February, the developers will ask at least six NFL teams if they want to move to L.A. as early as next season (or wait till the construction is done a few years down the road). The San Diego Chargers are one of those teams. The Chargers have a three-month window every year that starts in February to inform the city of San Diego what their plans are for the coming season. The developers are hoping that the team's plans next year will be to move to Los Angeles.

Of course these developers, the Majestic Realty Co., pronounced last year that they'd have a team in L.A. by this season. They apparently still have no doubt.

I agree. I think if anyone is moving to LA it's jacksonville, especially since they are doing fairly well this season and are having home-games blacked out in their area.

Any idea which other teams were targeted?

Chargers to LA would be a bad move. This is one of the Raider Nation's biggest mainstays. Wouldn't mind the Jags, or maybe the Rams could come back to LA even though they've been real <Censored>ty.

I wish Toronto was taken seriously for an NFL team.

I hope its the Chargers, but probably not. I don't know what I'd do if there was an LA team though, lol so i'm just not gonna think about it for now.

I think it will be the Jags. They dont really deserve a team in Jaxonville with tampa and miami already there.

It has to be a team from NY, Florida or California because those are the only states that have atleast 3 teams

Going through the possible teams mentioned here, I really can't see any of them moving to LA, except for the only logical one being Oakland.

San Francisco has way too much history to pack up and move to LA.

Detroit won't move as their stadium is only 7 years old.

Washington won't move because in every USA major sport must have a team from Washington, come on, it's your nations capital, they HAVE to have a team.

Jacksonville I don't think should move as they have no real reason to, plus the stadium would be rarely used except for your odd monster truck show and concert, plus the Gator Bowl.

Buffalo should eventually relocate to Toronto, so they are out.

San Diego, it would be a bad move if they decide to leave. A lot of history in SD, plus it is a regular venue for the Super Bowl.

Cleveland, possibly, but then you would lose the Ohio rivalry with the Bengals, plus it would screw up the NFC North division, having a team in the west.

Minnesota, no, not when they have finally been given a new stadium

The only team that could do it, is Oakland, plus it wouldn't screw up the divisions in terms of locations...
