With the 19th pick in the 2008 NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles select...

OT Jeff Otah from the University of Pittsburgh.

One of the biggest needs for the Eagles, outside of WR is OT, plus they think they will still be able to get a good WR in the 2nd round. So they get Jeff Otah who is an excellent tackle and will be able to get right in and help this team out from the get go, also adding a guy like this might help McNabb from getting hurt all the time.

With the 20th pick in the 2008 NFL Draft the Tamba Bay Buccaneers select...

CB Antoine Cason out of the University of Arizona.

The Bucs are really thinking defesensively and did not want to go after another WR, after having brought in Antonio Bryant from Free Agency, who should do very well after having a years rest. They wanted to help out one of their weaker spots on the field, and they did that by getting a very athletic corner from Arizona.

GregR25 and the Washington Redskins are on the clock

With the 21st pick, the Redskins select...

Phillip Merling, DE Celemson

The Defensive End spot is the biggest need for Washington, so they take the best available in Merling.

With the 22nd pick in the 2008 NFL Draft, the Dallas Cowboys select...

Felix Jones RB from the University of Arkansas.

With Julius Jones leaving for Seattle, the Cowboys were left with only 1 RB. Only having 1 RB (thats can do anything) is a concern in this hard hitting, injury plagued league. So the Cowboys went out and answered a high priority question.

With the 23rd pick in the Draft, the Steelers select...

OT Gosder Cherilus from Boston College

With Faneca leaving and Hartings retiring, the Steelers take the best OLineman available to hopefully give Big Ben some breathing room after a horrible season for the line last season.

With the 24th pick of the NFL Draft, the Tennessee Titans select

Wide Receiver from the University of Texas, Limas Sweed

The Titans have very limited offensive weapons, and WR is in desperate need. Sweed's size will give Vince Young a big target that he can get the ball too. Also Sweed has the play making ability that the Titans offense needs. Also Vince Young is going to get a familiar face. As he has shown with Bo Scafe, Vince really likes to throw to guys he is use too.

It was very tempting for us to go with a defensive player at this pick, but we decided to draft...

Running Back from the University of Oregon, Jonathan Stewart

We feel that we don't have much needs on our roster and just took the best player available in our eyes.

With the 27th pick in the 2008 NFL Draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars are pleased to select...

Calais Campbell, DE from the University of Miami.

With the departure of their prized DE Bobby McCray, and DT Marcus Stroud, there was an obvious need to fill the holes left by both men. And with this pick, the Jaguars feel like they filled 1 of those 2 holes.

With the 27th pick in the 2008 NFL Draft, the San Diego Chargers select...

Kenny Phillips, FS out of the University of Miami.

The Chargers could really use a lot of help. And with the loss of Drayton Florence and Marlon McCree, their secondary perhaps could use the help the most, and with Kenny Phillips, he will really help out that secondary.

With the 28th pick in the 2008 NFL Draft the Dallas Cowboys select...

Malcolm Kelly, WR out of the University of Oklahoma.

Patrick Crayton emerged and he was locked up long-term but Terrell Owens is getting older and Terry Glenn may be just about finished so they could use a young, speedy deep threat. So out of James Hardy and Malcolm Kelly, we feel that Kelly has the bigger upside. And already selecting a RB with their first pick, Kelly seems like a good choice at this spot.

With the 29th pick of the 2008 NFL Draft, the San Francisco 49ers select...

Jerod Mayo, Linebacker from the University of Tennessee

Very talented kid who excels at linebacker, either inside as an MLB or outside as an OLB. Great size and weight for his position, which allows him to be an efficient defensive player. A threat to any offense when blitzing and can really lay anyone out at any given moment. Working on the same defense with last year's Rookie of the Year, Patrick Willis, will really help this kid develop. Also, may have the best character out of any player in the draft.

#30 GREEN BAY PACKERS

Brandon Flowers CB Virginia Tech.

A physical corner who can step right in at nickel back and play the press coverage the Packers love, Flowers is a great fit for the Cheeseheads. His stock is literally all over the place, thanks to questionable decisions off the field and an alarming lack of speed in Indy. Seasoned Hokie watchers I’ve talked with believe Flowers is every bit as good as Deangelo Hall, just a step slower. It wouldn’t shock me if they took Dustin Keller here, as you will undoubtedly see on some other mocks.

With the 31st pick in the 2008 NFL Draft the Super bowl champions, the New York Giants select...

Quentin Groves, LB out of Auburn.

Well the Giants believe a new LB is one of their biggest needs in this draft, plus with Kawika Mitchell and Reggie Torbor both gone, and while Mathias Kiwanuka is coming off an injury and could be moving back to defensive end sometime in the near future, the Giants feel that getting Groves will be a huge lift to their LB core.
