It's not going to happen. It's been brought up many times and Jarrod says no every time. It takes away activity.

If the board has been open for about 3 years...
365x3= 1095
502 047(total number of posts, not including this one)/ 1095= 458.49

So if we're averaging nearly 460 posts per day, and summer is coming up, I'd still consider this.

NO - shoutboxes detract from posting.

If you wanna talk via messenger, use AIM, MSN, etc or through the CDT.

It's been tried by this board and others, and all that I've talked to agree that posting goes down once it's installed.. that defeats the true purpose of a forum
