If you are David Khan, and you land the first pick in the draft do you pick Irving since he is the best player in the draft, or do you select someone else because you have Rubio's rights?

This is seriously an interesting question.

My guess is they are going to know the Rubio situation better than we all do, and if he'll come back to the T-Wolves and that timeframe. They will plan accordingly with that in the back of their mind that's for sure.

Lot of people I hear prefer Williams over Irving anyways. So it would only make sense for them to pick Williams rather than Irving.

Kyrie, no questions asked. I don't see Rubio ever being anything in the NBA and it's clear he doesn't want to play for you.

Even if Rubio is something, Kyrie Irving has a much higher ceiling then Williams in the pros, and is all around a better prospect. Kyrie should go #1 regardless of who drafts.

Kyrie. Ricky may never come to the NBA, and if he does, he doesn't want to play for you (basically mirroring what someone above me said).
