See this is what I've been saying about pic effects and the such! This is one of the simplest ones.

i used gaussing blur before on renders, like on my faded steve nash on my sig. but never switched it to vivid

i like the look better with a 1.0 blur instead..

I just duplicate it 1 or 2 times, set one to overlay at __% (depends on sig) and the other on hard light or soft light or whatever at ___% (depends again)

i used it on my matt leinart sig, and it didn't work, i think ti only works with certain BG colors, and red isn't on of them

ive been setting gausain blur to 1 px and then setting it to overlay instead id looks pretty good

You can also change the blending mode for different effects. I tend to use 6-9 pt Guassian blur and chang the blend to Hard Light.

i used 2.0, set it vived and put it behind a regular version and lowered the opacity of the original to get my avi render.
