Brewers will regret trading for Gallo. He's looking like a major bust now.

batting .246 at AAA this year. 91 Strikeouts in 70 games. He looked horrible at AAA last year too.

Maybe he figures it out but I'd be worried right now. He hasn't fixed his strikeout problem and still has a poor batting avg at AAA.

I don't buy the Gallo hype either tbh. Strikes out too much, even at AAA.

He had 57 strikeouts in 36 games last year, 91 in 70 this year at AAA. Not much improvement there.

I mean he'll hit a shitload of HRs for you but those strikeout numbers are worrisome. Although now that I look closer he does draw a lot of walks so maybe he'll be decent. Idk. I'm not hyped about him anymore.

He has a .381 OBP in AAA this year. 30+ HR's and a .350 OBP is pretty valuable.

I mean Gallo is a lotto ticket at this point, but everything I've heard about Gallo, I heard about Kris Bryant (Strikes out too much, poor pitch selection, not enough contact, etc). I saw Gallo bust a window on a HR at Target Field in 2014. Dude has some serious power

He hit a 450 FT HR off Kershaw last year. Lefty vs lefty

Kris Bryant was batting .295 at AAA before he was called up, and showed an all-around game the minute he was called up.  Big difference to what Gallo has done in the last 365 days.

I think the Rangers gave up a tad too much for a 40-year old rental, but the leadership, the play, and the history makes this a solid deal. The Yankees did a fantastic job this deadline.
