Plug-in Help

ok so i tried to download greycstoration (kind of like topaz) for gimp, and i extracted the downloaded files into the plug-in folder, but i dont know where to find it when gimps open.

i know its gimp, but im hoping it might be the same kind of setup for photoshop? can anyone offer any assistance?

What are the options you have? Is there a "Filters" optoin?

my options are brushes, curves, environ, fonts, fractalexplorer, gfig, gflare, gimpressionist, gradients, levels, modules, palettes, patterns, plug-ins, scripts, templates, themes, tmp, tool-options.

Go into the Plug-Ins option. It's probably there.

it's in there, but i dont know to access it in gimp, i cant find it

Try restarting GIMP.

i've done that. when i go through my folders i can see its in the plug-in folder, but when i open gimp its not even in the plug-in browser.

for topaz on photoshop, where do you enter the key? i know someone will be able to help me with this one hahah

There should be a menu, bottom right I think, and I believe a drop down menu appears, and one option will be Enter Key.

thats like my problem though, i cant find anything topaz related in PS. sorry haha im like really lost
