Personally, I think there giving away a lot with 3 future draft picks... Taking on players at the end of there careers with bulky contracts never play out right...

C- Brook Lopez
PF - Kevin Garnett
SF - Paul Pierce
SG - Joe Johnson
PG - Deron Williams

On paper it looks like an All-Star game lineup for 3 years ago.

Well that's a fucking All-Star team.

Why not go fucking all in if you're the Nets though? Honestly this current team is not gonna win anything and your future looks pretty bleak anyway.

No way the C's are doing it anyway.

As a knicks fan I love that deal, lol. Go ahead, screw your team up. They'll be awesome for about 1 year and then be horrible.

I'd be down. Wallace is a proven loser, Kris blows, and it's expirings

Plus Wallace-Bradley-Rondo is the best defensive backcourt in the league. There'd be zero offense created, but it's worth it

Having Wallace as a backup is gonna be tough, with his contract.

Love how 2016 and 2018 are unprotected, and 2014, while probably lotto protected, is good for trade ammo to move up in 2014

Unless yall get lucky in the lottery that isn't a bottom 5 team.

Only Charlotte, Orlando, and Phoenix is worse imo. Maybe SAC too; DET is equal

That lineup is so horrendous. Jeff Green is going to average 23 points per game on 36 shots

Philly's gonna be down there. Milwaukee too, more than likely.

Unless Rondo decides to sit the season like Rose that team won't be among the worst in the league.

Rondo and Bradley will still be a great defensive backcourt, and defense keeps you in games.  Jeff Green will be a good scoring option, Jared Sullinger will be a solid option at the 4.  And don't underestimate the Celtics playing Green at the 4 like they did a lot this year with Wallace playing the three, making the point and wing defenders even better.  Kelly Olynyk, Brandon Bass, Courtney Lee, Fab Melo, Jordan Crawford...

That's a whole lot more than the real Wiggins contenders have.

But we lost a superstar, so by rigged NBA Lottery rules, we get a Top 2 pick

Detroit is better than that team. Honestly might be the worst team in the NBA if you ask me.

So excited for the Celtics this season to be honest, even if we suck it'll be a fun team to watch. Rondo is always fun to watch, he can make some amazing circus passes. Avery Bradley is a defensive guru, always nice to watch someone who works as hard as him. Jeff Green is a highlight reel, drives the lane all the time, posterizes players all the time, not to mention he puts up consistent shooting numbers from deep. Then Sullinger, another hard worker, always gets great position in for rebounds, a fundamental player who just does what needs to be done and works hard. Then finally Olynyk, who is like a Dirk Nowitzki. It's always fun to watch the bigs shoot threes and he can score inside as well. All we need is Fab Melo and we can have a block party too!

Honestly though we'll be a bottom 5 team. I also think when the trading deadline comes around, Rondo will be on the block and I wouldn't be surprised if he gets traded once his value is back up. Don't really see him as the heart of the Celtics, his scoring just isn't consistent enough.
