Panthers hope to have Steve Smith back for final preseason game

The Carolina Panthers are hopeful star wide receiver Steve Smith will be back for final preseason game according to Jason La Canfora of NFL.com. He's making good strides in recovery from a broken arm suffered while playing flag football in June.

Smith broke the same arm that he broke at the end of last season but in a different spot. The Panthers had hoped to get Smith back midway through preseason.

Great news for Panthers fans. It is good to see he is making a good recovery after that freak injury.
