Panthers DE Romeus tears ACL

PITTSBURGH -- Pittsburgh Panthers defensive end Greg Romeus will miss the rest of his senior season with a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee, the second major injury he has had this season

Terrible news for the guy. I hope he is ready to go next year, when he becomes a pretty hot prospect in the 2011 NFL Draft.

Really sucks for him. He was out for most of the season with a back injury, then comes back only to shred his knee. Hopefully he can make a full recovery. He's definitely an NFL talent.

Jabbal Sheard really stepped up in his place though. Looks like he could have a nice future ahead of him.
